[The man who went to Bad]
Parallel World Traveller
A man haunted by his past.
A man who learned to keep silent.
‘To win the game, you have to make up your own rules.’
There’s a movement and it’s growing.
A movement of refusal.
Refusal to accept the lies pumped into the brains of the last three million inhabitants on Real Earth.
But to refuse, you have to risk everything.
You have to speak out.
And some people learned long ago to keep silent.
Ash Oldfield thinks he is a free man. He tunes out most of the mind controlling poison being fed directly into his brain.
All he has to do is keep quiet and follow the rules.
But on Real Earth in 2512, no one is free.
justice is in the hands of a sadistic cult known as the Pilgrims and the Journeywomen.
When Ash married his second wife, he let his guard down. He was crazy about her. He thought he’d finally conquered the fears which haunted him. He believed he could be happy.
But that belief died when she disappeared three years ago during a mercy mission to a reject part of town.
They said she died of plague. They were wrong.
And now, when the murderous truth comes out,
Ash has to stop being scared.
He’s got to break cover and seek the name of her killer in a parallel world. But by doing that he risks losing everything.
